From the Desk of The Director...

An ideal teacher is…a gardener who cultivates character, a torch-bearer and transmitter of values and ideals, and above all – a friend! – Dada J.P Vaswani​ It was Beloved Dada’s dream that every village should be rejuvenated, should become an ideal village and by it, he meant that the village should keep its culture alive, stay connected to its roots. Therefore, we endeavor to educate the children to keep them at par with the modern world and yet help them remain connected to the roots of their village.

 

Manjari is the first school started in a village during the lifetime of Beloved Dada and in adherence to his ideals, we aspire to give them the right education where we educate the head, hand, and the heart.​It is my great pleasure and honor to be associated with this mission which will truly transform a child in the rural outskirts into a global citizen.  

 

​In this age of global education, we focus not just on academics but a series of unparalleled programs that motivates students to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners. ​We are proud and blessed to provide an amiable environment among the teachers and children which nurtures creativity, passion and resilience among the students for their development of versatile personality.​I welcome each one of you on our pursuit of excellence.

As rightly said by Benjamin Franklin, Education is a continuous learning process and we here at SVG believe that the more you involve students the more they learn.  We offer activity-based teaching with a child centric approach.  Students are encouraged to ask questions thereby creating a sound foundation of critical thinking.

Our syllabus is designed in such a manner that it not only enhances the academic side of a child but also equip him/her with our traditional values and cultures.  SVG believes in providing safe, social, emotional and physical environment to all our students making them empathetic, compassionate and kind to all living creatures.  Our students are equipped with latest technology that ensures their holistic growth.

​

The pandemic has taught us so many things.  Apart from teaching us that family and health are of utmost importance, it has also made us aware that this generation kids are very techno-savvy.  There was a paradigm shift in the teaching learning process.  The education fraternity understood that the notion ‘sage on stage’ ie. teacher centred education has been taken over by the ‘guide on the side’ (Students centred learning).

SVG understands that active learning method emphasise learner involvement – learning by dong, thinking and connecting ideas.

​

The team of well qualified, passionate and experienced teachers form the base of SVG institution. The students share an incredible bond with teachers and good rapport with their peers. The parents are an important part of our community.  Their immeasurable help, support and involvement will help the school in raising the future generations of tomorrow.

The hallmark of the school is the age-old philosophy of our Indian Culture. Values drive human behaviour. Our beloved founder Dada J. P. Vaswani always said, “Finding your soul- that is the essence of spirituality”. Therefore, I set goals, every year for my team to inculcate values in our Student, Teacher and Parent community. Values help us make choices in life. A community with great behaviour develops the culture that everyone in that community desires. This will be my primary focus. We will demonstrate the most desired behaviour in all our actions and interactions.
